Wtf? Nurgle? Little chaos ogre?

While I was busy with some green stuffed helmets - more on that quite soon - I fiddled with an arse-ugly rat ogre - more on that quite soon - and this random cyclops here.

Quite a cool customer, but oddly sized. You might call him ST 4. He is bigger than your average guy, but not a very impressive big guy.

What do I do with him?

Chaos Pact - ogre

Last player! Team is done now, and the last player is of course the ogre.

The ogre, like all the others, is of course not your average ogre. He is heavily converted and part rat-ogre, green stuff and does in fact not contain any conventional blood bowl or ogre bits.

Perhaps my only regret is that the ogre does not quite match the slightly more tribal and savage look that the marauders and other two biggies have. On the other hand, the goblin, skaven and dark elf are not savage, so...

Chaos Pact - Uncle Bully

Countdown continues... Here is the bull.

Quite a bull, I think. He (it?) is of course a conversion as well, featuring the rather hideous muscle-mino plastic head which I actually thought worked quite well on this.

He is somewhat dominated by the warpstone that's coming out of his body, and the chunk of it that he is holding, but I think it turned out alright, even with a super simple paintjob. The furry bits got to match the uniform that the other guys wear, and he really only wears team colour on his shoulder pad.

Chaos Pact - Dark elf

Finished. Two players awat from being all done...

I heart dark elves, but I have not painted many of them in my time. This mostly because I was not a fan of the 2nd ed dark elves with their short legs. They looked cool by themselves, kinda, but stupid next to other elves.

Most modern dark elves have become too streamlined, bondage-y or silly for my taste.

However, dark elves are essentially still elves, and it is really just a religious schism, so I used another elf. I did choose to do dark elf skin, just to hammer the point home, even if warhammer dark elves are not subterraneans or nocturnal, and really just should have regular skin. Wrestled with the issue.

So here he is. Aloof, cruel, slimmer and taller than his marauder team mates.

Chaos pact - Troll blitzer

This is the finished version of the troll I have teased with before. Blitzing, and quite optimistically dynamic. In league play he will no doubt prove dumb as a post and inept at basic tasks, but hey...

Quite heavily converted, the quiz-minded are always welcome to try and identify his parts.

I went with green, linking him up with the team gobbo who is painted exactly the same.

Chaos pact - marauders

All of these are done!

Needless to say, these are not your usual BB-players or even one of the easy and fairly common solutions. They are converted so that they do in fact contain GW-parts, and props to those who can identify the rest of them.

I liked the idea of tribes in the chaos wastes playing BB and wanted to do something different. Too different, perhaps?

Blood for the blood god!

Skulls for the throne of Khorne!

I could not help trying my hand at creating a blood bowl blood-thirster... Not that I intend to use it, but there was some fun to be had with the conversion of this demon.

He is obviously padded up, robbed of his weapon and given a belt adorned with skulls, and his legs are repositioned slightly to fit him on a 30 mm base.

He is not the biggest of big guys, but his huge wings make him impossible to place prone on the pitch, so I need to make a counter for him as well. Goblin for scale.

I have added a picture of the primed version as well, though it does not really show off his face either.
