I have toyed with the idea of building a magnificent stadium for quite some time, and while paying for abf assembling something is not quite legendary modelling, I think that is the proper level of magnificence for me.

I have tweaked half these fans, getting rid og features that I just did not like.

Thought about putting fans closer together on bigger bases. Any input?

Still procrastinating, not painting for real... So I came up with the idea of making more fans for blood bowl.

Of course it would be boring to just have regular humans, so I gave them some chaos elements.

Now all we need is a favourable kick off tomorrow, and off he goes, chill May winds on his scrotum, halflings and beastmen looking on in dismay.

Been extremely busy with work lately, so rather than work on my various projects I took a timeout with this pair, who will act as a surprise on Monday when we continue league play.

It is not a kick off in blood bowl, but still...

Minis uncoverted, speed painted and lacking final touches like buttons and grass.

Boglars?

I know the boglars are supposed to be toadlike, but usurprisingly my collection of toad heads was non-existant, so here are some other... experiments.

Could I not just get suitable gobs and sculpt toady features? Maybe. We shall call that plan B.

What the hell are these? One is a snipped Reaper Bones goblin pyro. Rubbery and dirt cheap. Both easy and difficult to convert due to his rubbery nature.

The others are little crocs from the excellent crocodile team with gnoblar heads.

Neither are toadlike. One is Gremlins-looking, the others are... one of my more curious ideas.

I have one other idea, but I am looking for some input here.

One-eyed jocks?

Four more of these bad boys are now more or less "ready",  in terms of pose at least. I wanted to keep them hulking and fierce, so they are all in "brawl in a roadhouse about to start" mode and not in a running or ball handling pose at all. With AG 1 and a mace tail, you would not sprint a lot either...

Unless there was an amazon nearby, perhaps.

Anyway. Yes. One has a big fist from the GW ogre kingdoms, and another had a full arm replacement, Polish orc donor, I think.

Actually more like from an old Milton Bradley box, but never mind.

It is early days of course, and so it has only been a case of snipping, sawing and pinning so far. Making six or eight different minis out of the one is not going to be that easy,  but there is hope yet, and the green stuff is not out yet. I plan to set these up as lizardmen, btw. The saurus seemed the closest to a fimir, I thought.

The casting is awful. They all have lines to cut and file, and some have a perfectly round hole in their backs. And of course they all suffer from being on a silly rectangular slab of plastic.

This IS just my displacement activity as I take a break from painting chaos.
