Minotaurs. Here are two wildly different ones. It would wrong to say that either fits the team, but which is less of a missfit?
I did consider making some little alterations to make either share SOME feature with its team mates. It seems a sure way to make oneself one retarded mini though. A beard? A chaos helmet? No one wins here, I fear.
Also here is the last dwarf. He drinks, he tackles. We all have friends like that.
The one on the left looks unfittingly tall. The one on the right is just a butt ugly miniature.

What do you suggest: Extremely converted/nearly scratch built beastie, or minimally modified, probably quite old? (but not so old that he has feet, bare buttocks and is the size of a gor)

DeleteThe left one is very tall indeed. Surprisingly so. I think he would fit better in on a chaos team.
The other one... I think he's a headswap and armjob (lobster claw). I am happy with the work done on him as such, but not a huge fan of the miniature.
Luckily I have several other cows out in pasture.

The one on the left is a fine miniature. It's only problem is the size. It looks like a statue, due to it's height.

DeleteI want a mino with hoofs, not feet. Greek mythology be damned. Otherwise I'd buy a mino head and stick it on an ogre. Some of the old ones are too small to play next to bull centaurs and look... too cute.
Ox Roar is great, but he's very common. I have one or two of him, I think. So maybe I'll spruce him up a bit.
